Hi. What you see here represents 10,000’s of hours, (maybe even 1000 weeks) and I am very grateful for the people and work I’ve had an opportunity to be a part of

I became the client:

VP of marketing for a wildly innovative chemistry company called Evolved By Nature.  I built an award winning in house creative studio. Not alone, that’s crazy.  But WE  built more than that. A PFAS-free leather making facility? In Thailand? I loved this job.

I’ve been Executive Creative Director at Translation New York and B-Reel New York: 

Really proud of the job I did at one. Failed mightily at the other. I worked equally hard for both and I’m happy to tell you about the things I learned. ‍ I loved these jobs. 

I’ve been Creative Director at Goodby, Y&R, Translation and Anomaly, and Copywriter at Ogilvy, Carmichael Lynch and Goodby.

The thrill and the peace of mind of being smart and dumb in alternating cadence. Just like a human is supposed to. I loved these jobs. 

I have freelanced for Anomaly, Argonaut, Arnold and dozens of places that don’t start with “A” 

I always bring the same energy to Google as I do to Mother and everywhere in between. I loved every job…except one.

I’ve won lions and pencils and I think maybe a few clios? 

The most recent pencil is arriving soon, but I’m saving it for a lonely day. I wish I could say I love awards. It is definitely not why I do this.

If you know “Rumble in the Jungle”, “The Battle of the Sexes”, “D**k in a box”…  

then you know some legends I have had the good fortune of working with. Some of them are no longer here. I’m aware of how old this makes me. 

I’ll never be the smartest person in the room.  Even when I’m alone in that room. 

I can’t take myself too seriously I choose to save that energy for your job. 

I’ve lost my fastball. Thank God. My writing was never as good when I was writing to gratify myself as it is now that I am writing for you. Well, there were a few times…

I’m no star. And I won’t use the term “north star”. But I will put the spurs to making you a star, with all the kindness, respect and empathy I’ve got.
